MLK is not God, but he is a man of God. When he stated that people should be judged by the content of their character and not by the colour of their skin, or that he would like to see little black boys and white boys hold hands in brotherhood....these would be timeless and universal concepts regardless of whether we are in the 60s, 90s or 2020s. Why was MLK wrong in these concepts in your view?
(ps Che Guevara is often brought up today even though he is a 60s man. We have Black History month which celebrates the work of historical Black figures, not to mention that slavery is often brought up by BLM protesters and academics in the context of repatriations. So, history is important).
