Interesting article challenging the Conservatives in the US. It is interesting how different sides of the political spectrum perceive each other. The Left/Progressives see the Conservatives as orchestrating the dystopian phenomenon of authoritarianism and curtailment of free expression. On the other hand, Conservatives/Right like myself (although British Conservatives are slightly different to their American counterparts), see this phenomenon coming from the Progressive Left. Human psychology is very interesting. I capture my thoughts on American dystopia in my book where I invite a well known progressive Left in the US to dialogue and debate.

It is very easy for any activist or commentator from either side to accuse each other of being wrong, thus playing to their audience; but it is more difficult for these very commentators to engage in positive and constructive dialogue with their adversaries. This is what I have found when I attempted to engage in dialogue with the Left, as can be gleaned from my book (title given below) and from my various article I have written on Medium. Topics include:
- Far Left activism on racism (I critique it in my book).
- Israel-Palestine problem (I am pro-Israel), and have found it difficult to get responses from pro-Palestinian activists.
- Abortion (I am pro-Life), but I am starting to engage in constructive dialogue with pro-choicers and feminists, although still difficult to garner a complete dialogue cycle.
- Covid vaccines (I am pro-vaccine). I have challenged even my own Conservative side of their vaccine scepticism and invited a well known American anti-vaxxer doctor to dialogue…but you guessed it, no response!

Hopefully, I can engage with you positively and constructively on some of these topics.
